Instructed classes
During the summer, we offer instructed classes in cooperation with Easymove and Liikuntakeskus Voitto.

Gym and team sports shifts
UniMove organizes the following team sports shifts: badminton, football, padel, ultimate, pesäpallo (Finnish baseball) and volleyball. Up-to-date information and shift descriptions can be found in the calendar. Registration for shifts via the calendar.
The gym shifts at the Linnanmaa Sports Center are available on weekdays. Check the calendar for the latest information.
You can reserve a court for badminton at the Linnanmaa Sports Center. Click here for more information on reservations.
Please note that the Linnanmaa Sports Center will be closed from June 8 to 28 for annual maintenance.

Other activities at summertime
Beach volley
OYUS Beach Volley has four courts in Linnanmaa campus. The courts are located next to the southern parking lot of the university. The courts can be reserved at www.vuorovaraus.fi
Outdoor gyms

Paddling and SUP
Oulu paddling center opens its doors again for the summer in Oulu's Linnansaari! With the code UNIMOVE2025 you get 20 % discount on following rentals and tickets: single / double kayak, SUP-board and inflatable canoe rental, as well as a single water park ticket and a group water park ticket. Tennis

Ultimate Frisbee beginners' course 18.5.-1.6.2026
Course offers you an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of the game while enjoying exercise in a relaxed and supportive environment. The course is held on the artificial grass in Linnanmaa (Kaitoväylä 7) on Mondays at 19.30-21.00. The course is free for UniMove members. Sign up for the shift via the calendar.
