You can become a member of unimove if you are:
- Oulu University of Applied Sciences or University of Oulu
- student (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Professional Teacher Education)
- staff
- exchange student
- student (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Professional Teacher Education)
- Student of other university or university of applied sciences

Membership prices
Prices for students of University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences:
- 50 euros / academic year (1.9.2023–31.8.2024)
- 30 euros / autumn semester (1.9.–31.12.2023)
- 33 euros / spring semester (1.1.–31.8.2024)
- 15 euros / summer (1.5.–31.8.2024)
Prices for staff of University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences and students of other universities:
- 60 euros / academic year (1.9.2023–31.8.2024)
- 40 euros / autumn semester (1.9.–31.12.2023)
- 43 euros / spring semester (1.1.–31.8.2024)
- 25 euros / summer (1.5.–31.8.2024)
Payments include 10 % VAT. Membership cannot be paid by sports/culture vouchers.
Please note that the right to use the services is valid as long as the right to study or employment is valid. If you graduate or your employment ends in the middle of your membership period, your UniMove membership will also end.
How to become a member
1. Go to UniMove's online store and HAKA log in from the top right of the page using your university username and password. HAKA login ensures your right to use the services.
2. Pay membership in the online store.
3. The membership is activated immediately after purchase. Sometimes activation requires logging out as well as re-logging in after the purchase.
4. Download free UniMove-app to your mobile phone from AppStore or Google Play. In the application, you will find a UniMove mobile card, which serves as proof of the membership. The mobile card shows the validity period of your membership. You can also sign up for classes through the app and see the latest UniMove news and receive push notifications of sudden changes to your classes.
5. The member must be able to prove their membership when using the sports services either through the mobile application or alternatively through the "My information" --> "Access rights" section of UniMove's online store.
