Exercise counselling is individual guidance for students who need support and help to promote wellbeing and increase their physical activity. Mia Tervo works as a UniMove's exercise counsellor. Exercise counselling is always based on the student's own needs and goals. The most typical reasons for seeking exercise counselling include lack of exercise routines and finding meaningful forms of exercise. Exercise is also hoped to help with mental well-being and stress management. The role of the exercise counsellor is to give practical tips for a more physical everyday life and to provide support and encouragement to students to achieve their own goals. UniMove's exercise counselling service is free of charge and does not require UniMove membership. You can book an appointment easily on the UniMove website using the appointment calendar. Appointments are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
