Our mobile app is getting a makeover - update your app!

The new version of the app will be available for download from app stores from 21.5.2025. The app redesign has paid particular attention to providing a better user experience.

Update the app in your app store

All our customers should update their own application to the updated version to ensure it works in the future. The old version of the application will no longer be supported in the future. Also, new features added to the application at a later date will not be updated to the old version.

You can easily access our renewed app by updating the app on your device in your app store to the latest version. The UniMove app will be available for update on Apple devices from the AppStore and on Android devices from the Google Play store from 21.5.2025. If you have automatic app updates enabled on your device, the renewed app will be automatically updated on your device. At the end of this news story, you will find instructions on how to turn on automatic app updates on your phone if you wish.

Please note that the app requires at least Android 10 or iOS 13 to update and use. You can continue to use the old version if it is not possible to upgrade your phone, but not all features will work.

Allow notifications

Once you have updated the app, make sure you have enabled notifications. You can find the settings on the User tab under "Notifications". From here you can verify the settings and turn them on if necessary. You will receive notifications on your phone, for example, when you get from the queue to the calendar's event or if an event is suddenly cancelled.

Redesigned interface and layout

The redesigned app features a completely new user interface, which has been redesigned from the ground up. The interface design has also taken into account the future evolution of the application: the new base allows for further development of the application as planned. In the next phases, new features requested by users will be added to the application. The application upgrade will further enhance the security features of the application and its preparedness for security threats in the future. The security features are mainly invisible to the user, but more important.

Overall, the app should be more intuitive and easier to use than before.

How to allow automatic app updates on your phone

If you have automatic app updates enabled on your device, the renewed app will automatically update on your device. You can also update the app manually from the app store.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select Settings --> Network settings
  4. Automatically update your apps.
  5. Select an option:
    • Anywhere on the network: apps are updated over either Wi-Fi or mobile network.
    • Wi-Fi only: Apps are updated only when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.

iOS

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap App Store.
  3. Turn on App updates.
