Come to a model for break exercise videos and photos!

We are looking for people of all ages and appearances to participate in a break exercise video shoot organized by the University of Oulu and Oamk. Photos will also be taken during the shoot. The material will be used within our higher education community for promoting sports services and for encouraging breaks from sitting during teaching, meetings, and similar events. Participants will be asked to sign a photography permit form granting permission to use the photos and videos taken during the shoot. The movements in the break exercise videos are easy and suitable for everyone, so you can join in with no prior experience. You can participate in the shooting day wearing your everyday clothes; no special exercise clothing is required. The shooting will be organized in collaboration with the Filmbutik video production company.

Time: Thursday 30.10.2025 at 9.30-16.

Place: The shoot will take place at various locations on the Linnanmaa campus of the university and Oamk.

Fee: Participants will be paid 17 euros / hour (please check taxation practices in advance https://vero.fi/en/individuals/). Note that fee cannot be paid if you are already employed by the University of Oulu or Oamk.

How to apply: Send a short introduction video of yourself (maximum 30 seconds) to project coordinator Mia Tervo at mia.tervo@oulu.fi no later than Wednesday 22.10. We will select 6–8 people for the shoot. The selection will be announced by email during Thursday 23.10. and the necessary instructions regarding the shooting day will be sent at the same time. Those selected will be required to commit to the shoot for the entire day. Please check your schedule carefully before submitting your application.
