Changes to memberships and registration practices starting 11.8.
The changes have been made based on feedback from our members.
New memberships
Our new memberships will go on sale on Monday 11.8. The calendar offerings, courses, and trial classes will be finalized during August, and the autumn season will start in full on September 1.
Prices for students of University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences:
- 12-month membership 58 euros. Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- 6-month membership 42 euros. Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
- 3-month membership 29 euros. Valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
Prices for staff of University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences and students of other universities:
- 12-month membership 75 euros. Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- 6-month membership 50 euros. Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
- 3-month membership 35 euros. Valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
Payments include 14 % VAT. Membership cannot be paid by sports/culture vouchers.
The right to use the services is valid as long as the right to study or employment is valid. If you graduate or your employment ends in the middle of your membership period, your UniMove membership will also end. Please take this into account when choosing the membership that suits you best.
Students from other universities can no longer join UniMove. Going forward, we will focus our resources on supporting the well-being of students and staff at our own universities.
Registration practices
Instead of the previous seven days, registration is now possible at the earliest five (5) days before the start of the calendar event, and registration is open until the start of the event.
A member is automatically banned from enrollment for a three days, if it is found that he has not confirmed the events he has booked and has not canceled them either. The enrollment ban follows from one (1) unconfirmed/uncancelled event.
As before, you have 3 hours to confirm your enrollment before the event starts, and cancellation must be made at least 1 hour before the event starts.
