Sports Buddy
Would you like to start a group fitness class, but going alone seems like a boring idea? Do you need someone to talk to on the jogging trails? Would you like to try new sport but it's not possible or meaningful to do it alone?
UniMove offers the Sports Buddy service for all students of the University of Oulu and the Oulu University of Applied Sciences, who would like to exercise with a friend or a group of friends. We want to connect students interested in the same sports and lower the threshold to start exercising with the Sports Buddy service. You do not need to be a member of UniMove to search for a Sports Buddy.
By filling the questionnaire below you accept that your contact information may be forwarded to other people looking for a Sports Buddy. Please only send one application. As soon as we find a suitable Sports Buddy or small group, we'll send you an email so that you can arrange a exercising session together. We will delete your application once we have found a suitable Sports Buddy for you. Sports Buddy applications will be stored for one (1) year unless you have previously requested that your application must be removed. If necessary, UniMove employees have the right to contact the sender of the application to get additional information.
The Sports Buddy service is meant only for searching a friend to exercise with, it is not a dating service. Please be cautious when meeting new people, use of the service and meeting a Sports Buddy is at your own risk. We recommend organizing the first meeting in a public place.
Notice! You need to register with HAKA on the UniMove website to complete the application. This is to ensure that the applicants are students of Oulu universities. Please use your student email address in the application, i.e. @student.oulu.fi or @student.oamk.fi address.
