UniMove participates in Wellbeing Week of Oamk

The Wellbeing Week takes place on 11.-15.11.2024. UniMove is involved in Wellbeing Week in the following ways:

On Tuesday 12.11.

at 8.30-8.40 light morning exercise by UniMove's exercise counsellor Mika / Campus Cafe Messi

at 10-12.30 Sports corner in Poiju-hall (pop-up exercise counselling, break exercise activities and information about UniMove's services)

Move your brain, boost your learning -orienteering (self-guided)
You use your mobile phone and a browser-based platform called Seppo to navigate to task points. Task points are marked on the map and each task opens when you are close enough to the task point (enable gps tracking in your phone settings). Log in as a player at https://create.seppo.io/login. Enter pin code 695B28 Write a player / team name and start the game!

Easy and short tasks are related to physical activity and study ability. There are 6 tasks in total and you should allow about 30 minutes for the whole orienteering. You can also do just a few tasks according to your own schedule. The game is available to play until 15.11. Take a walk break in the middle of your study day and you'll be able to study more efficiently again!

On Wednesday 13.11. Stand together -fair

Stand Together -fair is organised at Poiju and 2.nd floor hallway. At the UniMove stand, you can measure your grip strength and develop a more physically active study day by answering a short questionnaire.

On Friday 15.11.

17:00-18:00 Guided body & mind excursion to the Botanic Gardens

Need a moment to recover after a study week? Want peace of mind from nature? Join us for a guided body & mind excursion to the Botanic Garden and its surroundings organized by UniMove and Lappis! During the tour, we engage in well-being exercises, stimulate different senses and enjoy the rejuvenating power of nature. At the end we enjoyed a warm drink by the campfire. Hiking is a leisurely walk, stopping to do exercises. Dress warmly for the weather (remember to wear a hat, gloves and good, water-repellent footwear).

Time: on Friday 15.11. at 17-18 (Please be there five minutes before the event starts.)
Place: Botanical Garden (Kaitoväylä 5), meeting at the edge of the car park by the Botanical Garden’s gate.
