Take advantage of free exercise counselling!
Would you like to improve your well-being through exercise? Do you want more physical activity in your life, but don't know how to start?
Exercise counselling is individual guidance for students who need support and help to promote wellbeing and increase their physical activity. Mika Kankainen is UniMove's exercise counsellor. "People often look to exercise counselling for extra motivation and a plan for exercise," says Mika. "The most typical reasons for seeking exercise counselling include lack of exercise routines and finding meaningful forms of exercise. Exercise is also hoped to help with mental well-being and stress management," Mika continues. Not all of the people who come to exercise counselling are newcomers to the sport, but also formerly active people who, for various reasons, have taken a longer break from exercise. "Exercise counselling is always based on the student's own needs and goals. The role of the exercise counsellor is to give practical tips for a more physical everyday life and to provide support and encouragement to students to achieve their own goals," says Mika. UniMove's exercise counselling service is free of charge and does not require UniMove membership. "It's worth taking advantage of the free service and come and discuss with me," Mika encourages. You can book an appointment easily on the UniMove website using the appointment calendar.
